In the context of Information Technology (not the construction industry), here are some frequently used terms and their meanings, in my opinion (IMHO):
Architect: A person responsible for defining architecture and its description.
Architecture artifact: Anything that describes some part or aspect of an architecture. For example, models, analysis documents, reports, or any other documents contributing to the description of an architecture.
Architecture description: A set of artifacts documenting an architecture.
Architecture framework: A structured guide that suggests which artifacts should be created and how they relate to each other.
Architecture methodology: A structured approach to architecture. Methodologies are often defined and used to solve problems within a specific domain.
Architecture process: The steps involved in producing an architecture description and architecture itself.
Architecture taxonomy: A way to categorize and organize architecture artifacts.
Architecture: The organization of a system, its components, and their relationships (both with each other and with their environment). It includes the guiding principles on which the system will be structured and how it will evolve.
Informative.
